MUMBAI: India’s Income Tax officials have raided the houses of Bollywood actresses Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra this morning (Jan 24) on suspicion of tax evasion.
The raids have been carried out at about 12 premises belonging to the actresses and would continue till the evening.
The IT officials have served notices to both Katrina and Priyanka earlier, seeking details of their income but they failed to convince them.
On suspicion that the actresses are trying to evade tax by hiding their actual income, the IT department decided to raid their houses.
