KARACHI: Five vehicles, including three passenger buses, have been set on fire in the latest wave of unrest which erupted in the metropolis last night. The number of vehicles torched by unknown miscreants in the city over the last 12 hours has risen to 15. In addition, seven people were also shot dead in separate attacks of violence in Karachi. Tension has gripped the country's economic capital, where minimal traffic is being seen on roads. All educational activities have been suspended to prevent untoward incidents. The University of Karachi has also cancelled its scheduled examinations in wake of this latest spate of violence in the city. Violence broke out after a bus was torched at Bilawal Roundabout last night. |
